Welcome to my blog! I am new at this, so you will have to take the ride with me as I'm not sure how this blog thing really works. Just wanted to be able to share stories, give encouragement, and get feedback from past and prospective clients. It is always nice to hear continued success from previous clients. I have to say, I am blessed to be in a business that primarily operates by referrel. From time to time, I will get a call or an email from someone saying "thank you" for helping them. In the past few days, I have received several phone calls that touched my heart: one from a young girl that came and saw us over 6 years ago to quit smoking. I remember meeting her and spending alot of time talking about the treatment, as she was quite nervous. She left the office that day, scared but hopeful. Over the next couple of years, I would get a sporadic phone call from her saying, "Hi Pam, this is Allison....I just wanted to say that it's been 6 months since I quit smoking". And then I'd get a call the following year, and so fourth. During every conversation, I was so proud of her, and was happy to hear the sense of accomplishment in her own voice. She called just a few days ago to tell me it has been over 6 years not since she quit smoking, and that she is engaged. Congratulations Allison! The second phone call I received, was from a gentleman that came to see me several months ago. He was, as most prospective clients are, nervous about truely being able to quit smoking after years of being hooked. He had rescheduled his appointment with me several times and finally, I had the pleasure of meeting him. He called the other day to say that he couldn't believe after trying to quit for so long, that he finally was able to do it. He told me he was so happy, and that he loved me! How sweet! These are the calls that keep the passion going for what I do and make me feel grateful every day that I get to go to a "job" that I really love! |
